Rutgers University is home to one of the largest student housing operations in America, due to the size of this operation many continuing students found the application process to be a but overwhelming. In 2018 the Department of Residence life set out to simplify the process by creating a marketing campaign that clearly communicated all of the steps and dates involved in the housing selection process, while also making it feel more fun and approachable.

A fear of many continuing students at Rutgers is getting split up from friends when given a housing assignment. Rutgers University is comprised of 5 different campuses, I’ve incorporated elements from each campus and brought them all together in a singular cohesive style to make the Rutgers community feel more unified rather than disjointed. 

 
 
 
 

The final assets for this project took the shape of social media graphics, printed posters, door hangers, digital screen posters, and assets for the schools jumbotron.

 
 

The final piece of this project was a motion graphic for our social media channels that walked students though each step of the housing application process.
